Chardonnay Our Chardonnay is created in the
classic Chablis style. It is an old world style Chardonnay with
traditional sur lees aging, and a new world twist of aging it without
oak. This allows for a crisp full bodied white that has the
characteristics of the grape shining through, without "veiling" or
masking it with oak.
Serve Chilled.
Pair with salmon, lobster or with shellfish. Particularly good with

grape and a small addition of alpine strawberries Their lightly
sparkled wine is always sold out before the next vintage is released.

recreate this exquisite wine cocktail. With its intense strawberry

Hard Frost Cider
If you have lived in Maine for any
amount of time, you know the significance of the first "Hard Frost".
Harvest season has come to an end, and the long Maine winter is about
to set in. Growing up in my family we knew the first "Hard Frost" was
coming the day before. My uncle Don would wait for this day to pick
his prized McIntosh apples. He knew that this is when they would be at
the peak of perfection. Those apples were bold and crisp like the
Maine winters and as tasty as the entire summer it took to get them to
this point.
Every bottle of Tanguay & Son Hard
Frost Cider contains 3 pounds of 100% Maine McIntosh apples hand
picked at the last possible moment from Chipman Farms. These apples
create a cider with a bold unmistakable nose of "Maine Mac's". The
flavors explode onto your palate like a January nor'easter and the
finish is as crisp as the first "Hard Frost". Enjoy this seasonal
favorite while it lasts, and look forward to next year's batch. |
